What is the Demartini Method ® ?
If too many cooks spoil the broth, then too many teachers confuse the mind. There is a beautiful quote by E.O Wilson, one of the world’s most distinguished scientists, that sums up our current predicament perfectly:
“We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom. The world henceforth will be run by synthesizers, people able to put together the right information at the right time, think critically about it, and make important choices wisely.”
Drowning in information, while starving for wisdom – what a true sentence for our time. And what do we usually do when we start drowning? We try and find some more information to make sense of all the information we have already consumed.
So how do you know which information or teacher is right; more specifically which information or teacher is right for you? And even more clarifying would be which information or teacher for you at this specific point in your life.
One simple way is checking for longevity. The other way is seeing how you feel about it. Let me give you an example by using an analogy from the world of business:
Is the teacher you plan on following more like a Bernie Madoff or more like Warren Buffet?
Now think about how you thought and felt when weighing up those two business powerhouses. Madoff was greatly successful at the height of his fraudulent career, but you know that the legacy of Warren Buffet will be remembered long after everyone has forgotten about Madoff’s dishonesty.
You know with your mind and instinct who the true success is. Your mind knows because of the craftsman-like effort that Buffet has put in, honing his god given talent, and still choosing to better himself through decades of improvement and refining. And instinctively, we all know when we see something that is not quite right. We only sometimes lack the judgement to accept it.
So when a teacher comes along with a message that requires us to spend our time and money on dissecting our lives, assimilating their message into our lives and having the discipline to persevere until we see results, then it better be good.
Dr John Demartini is such a teacher. He has spent more than 40 years honing his skill, creating study materials, travelling the world teaching his message to thousands and changing lives in the process.
I fully endorse his teachings and I hope this post and the follow up post will show you why he is a very special teacher with a message that is right for our times.
In his own words: “The Demartini Method® will bring more heart and soul into your home and work place…Links your head and heart together…Provides continuity between your intuition and intelligence”
I have studied and assimilated the teachings of Dr Demartini for many years and have recently achieved accreditation as a Trained Demartini Method Facilitator®. This gives me the ability to help you improve your life and your business and give you the tools to make wise decisions. In the next post on Dr Demartini, I will explore further how this is done.
